Thought I'd add this to things that have already been mentioned:
In safari and shiira, if you go to a new link and/or window and
then close that window or use the "back" button, often you
actually are where you left off on that page. But as soon as you
use vokeys you will find yourself back at the top of the page.
when you come back to a former page, sometimes you'll hear the
link from which you left voiced, but even if you don't hear this,
it often works to use tab or option tab to navigate when you
initially return to the page instead of vo keys. Very often you
are then able to continue where you left off, and once you have
tabbed or option-tabbed past one link you can resume vokey-arrow
navigation without losing your place if you want to do so.
