Dave,  missed one letter in this, the letter (a.)  Aparently in order  
to work with settings on my gmail acount I have to update/upgrade  
Safari, so am in process of doing  so.  Which is what lead to the  
little problem.  My old version works finde for most places, but not  
for some.  And it's kind uf usless to have a running gmail acount  
when you can't get into the settings now.  This change has just  
recently happened  because only  about a month ago or so I was able  
to get in there fine.

That kind of catches you up, well, maybe.
