You are right scott, and I was and am very surprised and disappointed tha
ITunes - Apple's primary aapplication that is known to Windows users as well
was not accessable - hopefully it will be improved in Leopard.

James, perhaps you don't need it, but others might want it and may need
it. Sure there are plenty of other programs, but hey if Apple does for
example come out with an accessible Ipod or hell if someone just wants an
Ipod, well they can't use it at this point without running Rockbox etc.
because there's no other way I am aware of to put stuff on to the Ipod.
Besides all that, there's no way Apple can run around spouting
accessibility if their apps aren't even all accessible, now can they. It
simply makes sense.

Hi folks,
I don't honestly think that ITunes support is that important. Okay I'll
admit i was more than a little surprised when Voice Over didntt work
with Apple's ITunes - one of its trademark products, but well do we
really need it - I've deleted it from my mac.

in the mac news websites and a few podcasts on coverage of Steve Jobs
wwdc keynote they say nothing about the new accessability.
I was glad to see this news about a improved voice over i guess this
will be 2.0 version.
That is super cool though in having the ceo of a major company like
this demo such a small nich highly important feature like this. Doubt
others would be as berave or thoughtful hint ms.
It would also be great of Apple if they did another beta test program
for leopard accessaibility like they did for tiger voice over version
1.
From what I heard and read about the leopard features that were being
reported on I was not very impresed and thining I might pass on it,now
I am excitied with the new updated accessaibility. I hope itunes will
be much more useable this time around and we will able to access the
itunes store with vo.
