Alex is simply an improvement in voice technology. That is to say
that they have improved quality of the text to speech manager in
VoiceOver for Leopard. Whatever VO works on with any voice you use
now, it will continue to work with Alex. Alex is just a new voice
using the same speech manager as all other Apple voices.
