Hopefully, this message thread can provide new users, as I am, with VO
compatible programs that can be used on the Mac. This could save VO users,
especially new ones, the frustration of trying to use VO with programs or
applications on the Mac that do not work with VO. So expert users of VO,
please chime in and let us know for sure whether or not an application is
compatible and useable by VO users like me, a new VO user. When I purchased my
Mac, I also had installed at the factory the IWorks application, only to learn
yesterday that it is not compatible with VO, which is quite disheartening, not
to mention wasteful of my time and money. So this means that the Pages and
Keynote application are not presently useable by me, unless someone here
figures out how it can be used with VO. I am advised that Text Edit is what I
should use with VO instead of IWorks. So let us know what applications can be
used successfully with Vo, and whether or not they already come installed on a
Mac machine. I am completely ignorant of what comes with the Mac machine and
what VO compatible applications are there. Please enlighten me and others.
