Glad to see all the posts on this. It's more a matter of preference
and accustomment (if that's really a word). As I mentioned, I found
JAWS extremely difficult to become accustomed to when I first started
using it 10 years ago or so. In my mind, if I was moving down a
document, the cursor should have ended up at the end of each line I
was reading. Not so in JAWS. It is at the beginning no matter
whether I'm going up the document or down. I got used to it but my
mind still prefers the MacOS/VO concept. To me it's simple and easy
to use. I know, for the most part it's just a matter of opinion so I
don't feel there is any need to slam JAWS, just how I like to
perceive things.
