Yes, Jaws has scripts for ITunes and that is part of the point. How accessible is it truly without the scripts? If you read and follow the instructions for using ITunes prior to 7 with VO that have been posted several times on this list, you will find that it is as accessible as the windows version. I've used both and a bit more than a little so I have somewhat of a grrasp of what I am saying. Is it perfect? No. It could be hugely better and there are apps which are better which could be bbetter and there are apps which are less accessible which could be more accessible. Heck, for anyone who cares, we even have apps on both windows and the Mac which we cannot use and they are developped by the os developpers.

No, this is not true. iTunes on the PC is far more accessible then on the Mac. Because the PC (JFW allows for an off scren model, you can actually get to items just using the JFW cursor. This is not the case with VO. There are even some JFW scripts that work with iTunes, but not with iTunes 7.

ITunes accessibility on the Mac is pretty much the same as it is on the pc in my experience.

If you want to use itune with your computer, I downloaded the itune application to my PC and it seems to work alright with the PC and JAWS screen reader. I was just curious about itune, so I downloaded it into my PC and installed the program. I have only tested a couple of links using the jaws screen reader, but it seems to work alright so far. So as far as I can tell, if people here want to use the itune, they will just have to use a PC.

Note that something can be on a radar, but not a priority. Especially if feedback from the target audiance is negative, no feedback at all.

I'm curious why Tony Morales was not attacked for his opinion that all that can be done is not being done.

Yes, if only there was some indication that Steve Jobs had Universal
Access and VoiceOver on his radar.
