Have you tried audasity?

Yeah. See original message. *smile*

The new version has some accessibility enhancements that appear to improve the usability. I only messed with it for about 10 minutes when I upgraded, but there were some definite changes. Hope that helps.

Are you referring to version 1.3.2?If so, what aspects did you find to be accessible? I got lots of "unknowns" when I attempted to use it.

Upon revisiting, I find that I can interact with some of these, but it's still a twisty maze of unknowns, all alike. :) And I finally did get audio imported and playing, but I remain unsure as to just how I'd go about panning it. I found a menu option for downmixing, but I'm not immediately sure how to access track properties. I also noticed that, when attempting to quit, the program moves into an even more inaccessible state. I assume a "do you want to save changes?" dialogue appears, but I can't VO-arrow around in this at all.

Is Audacity Carbon-based? Or have they simply hit the motherload of widgets not working in Cocoa? :)
