One of the most successful campaigns I've ever seen or participated in was when fans of the show Roswell sent bottles of Tobasco sauce to Paramount to save the show. Which they did. Sending something like that, which the company can't easily discard or dismiss, makes a very loud statement, and it also gets a lot of media attention. The bottles of Tobasco was donated to a battered women's shelter by Paramount, and the show was saved.

So, let's all send Apple some apples. *smile*

Seriously, I think snail mail is far more effective than e-mail, but it is also a lot more difficult to get people to participate, in this day of electronic isntantaneous communication.

The question is, would snail mailing steve jobs do any good? I'm assuming he doesn't read every piece of mail sent to him. I'm assuming he has screeners and that kind of thing. So I kind of feel like its just as likely my letter will fall in a black hole when writing steve jobs as well. I think probably snail mail would be better than email in this instance, but I'm just not sure how much. Maybe if a lot of people did it.

I would say NO don't email there for one reason. I bet most anyone who reads it would already agree with you. Why preach to the choir. Send a snail mail to apple, addressed to Steve Jobs.
