That is quite true hat some things are not merely a matter of
opinion. This one happens to be though. In a rather closed
environment as we really are here. Top posting IMHO is best because
we are all following the thread and don't want to wade through old
material to get to the new.
As an example of when I hate top posting. At work we get emails that
circulate around, and people add their 2 cents, all top posted. So
you might get an email with a solution at top but you have to start
at the bottom and read backwards to figure out what the problem and
all the steps were.
But like I said here, where we often include a line or so quote just
to show why you responded I think top posting is appropriate most
often. It is a judgment call often, or just personal taste.
Now something to well chuckle about. I really like your solution to
not violating the top posting LAW!
You just often don't include a quote. Yes I know you do quote.
So simple solution, don't quote so you are neither top or bottom.
