So, there ya go. Scott [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Well folks, finally I realized after talking to a friend of mine,
that my Logitech headset has a sound card of sorts built-in and sure
enough I got it working out of the box and Speakfreely working with it.
However, I did find that the Creative Labs MP3 usb sound card is
fully supported by Linux so yet there's another option. So, only to
get the mic working correctly and I'll be good to go with the headset.
So, with great success Vmware is working. The only issue I found with
running Vmware is that if your Mac's screen saver engages, you have
to click back into your vm. I guess the Mac doesn't see the key
strokes or realizes something is going on. I imagine disabling the
screen saver is the only solution around this, but perhaps this is
being worked with Vmware.
