Hi Will,
I prefer it over Fire because with iChatter, you can have the
messages you type and receive spoken. Fire is nice because all of
your contacts are placed in one window, but since I am often doing
other things, I like having the messages spoken when received.
However, this is personal preference.

recall the format, as I did it a long time ago, but if you have
existing MSN contacts, you have to add them using the format
provided in the information. New contacts are automatically added
in it, but you do manually have to do it for the ones you already
have. It does work, as I use MSN fine with iChat and don't bother
ever running it on my Piled Crap any more.
