Hi David and others,

An addition to my previous email reply to David where he asked:

I realized that I assumed people knew you can print to a PDF file
as well as sending output to preview. This was mentioned on the list
a few months ago. When you give the "Print" command at the point
where you hear "Printer" and would normally select the printer to use,
you can tab over to fields that are unlabeled. Tab 5 times after you
hear "Printer" and you will be at an unlabeled button for "PDF". This
is the tab just before you hear "Preview". If you choose the PDF button
you will be prompted for a file name to save the file in PDF format instead
of printing. This ability to save any printed output as a PDF file is a
general feature of Mac OS X.

Later comments about being able to import PDF files into iTunes and
keep notes along with recorded lecture files assumed that you chose to
print these notes out as PDF files with the print option.

HTH

Cheers,

Esther
