I'm hoping that someone will find it useful; this way, since I have
Windows 2000 already, I don't have o purchase another XSP CD. In
this particular version, I have the three SAPI v oices from
Microsoft, as well as other engines that can be used. Ri9chie

Hi all. Firstly, I thought I'd let the list know that I have the
contact details for one of the developers of Parallels Desktop. I
have just sent him a very detailed and lengthy description of the
problems which WE VoiceOver users face when trying to use
Parallels. I'm hoping that he will pass on my request for some
sort of accessibility for the main Parallels dialogues. One can
only ask, offer to work with these people and hope that they are
receptive. Demanding, petitions etc., just get people's backs up I
find. Anyway, to the more immediate problem. I am preparing a
little instruction guide for the installation of a guest operating
system under Parallels. If anybody would like a copy, feel free to
contact me privately. I'm going to try this out again myself later
on this evening, I want to see what performance is like in
comparison to Fusion. Whilst Fusion is fully accessible, there are
things missing that I'd like to have seen. For instance the
ability to tweak and customize the virtual machines once the
operating system is installed. Sure, you can do things such as
adjust the amount of memory used. But that's about it. Also the
networking and graphics and sound support under Parallels seems to
be superior to Fusion from what I've seen. So no harm in trying.
