Josh. If nobody else has, I'll try this and let you know. It would help maybe with a few other issues with the UK Apple keyboard layout, which is very mixed-up. Thanks for this.

I figure this could help those of you running Parallels. I'm not, but the principles should be the same. I'm using a Apple keyboard connected to a KVM to my Mac Mini and my PC. You should be able to also make use of this with Windows running in a virtual machine with Parallels.

There's a program called SharpKeys which can be downloaded here:

It's for Windows and allows you to map any keyboard key to any other at the OS level, thereby allowing you to reset misplaced keys on your keyboards when you're running Windows with an Apple keyboard. I swapped the Command and Option keys so that the left Windows and Alt keys were properly placed while in Windows, and the right Option key became the Applications key. I also mapped the backspace key, which operates as Delete under Windows, to work properly as the backspace. All is well. I highly recommend it. It's totally accessible with Window-Eyes, and likely is with Jaws as well.

For those of us who use both operating systems on a daily basis, this program is a god send.
