As I said, I would like to be able to do what I can do with RDP under  
Windows.  In other words, use the machine remotely.  Run programmes  
remotely.  That is why I was hoping perhaps there was an accessible  
version of Apple Remote Desktop.  I planb to exchange my old Windows  
laptop for a MacBook Pro in the coming months, and it would have been  
nice to had access to the resources of my desktop machines remotely.   
I guess I've just become used to having this kind of access from my  
laptop under Windows.
