You said in an earlier post that your machine is 4 years old. What
machine is it? I imagine it is some kind of G4. You should be able to
partition the hard disk and have OS9 on one partition and Tiger on the
other. It would be a good idea to check the firmware is up to date,
but I think the Tiger install disk will prompt you to do this.
