No; as I mentioned before, I'm running OS 9.2.2. I don't have OSX.
Cheryl, I am very curious, what is holding your friend back from upgrading to OS X? I imagine she just doesn't want to mess with something that she perceives as working okay for her, but I know, as just one example, I could never go back to Internet Explorer. If the machine is really only four years old, it will run Tiger just fine, so long as she has at least 512 MB RAM. Once nice things about G4 vintage machines is that they will run almost all Classic apps just fine. (Of course, one exception to that is OutSpoken!) Is there an Apple Store anywhere near you? I really recommend dropping by during a slow time, ask to try out an iMac or Mini, hit Command F5, and experiment away.
