Yes, never is the highest point (100%) of the slider. However, I've
been having this issue as well, where the screen saver does not go
away even when I set it to never. Setting the slider to 3 hours,
rebooting the system, and setting it back to never seems to fix it
temporarily, but I've not yet been able to figure out what triggers
the issue. Interestingly, my laptop, and iBook G4, has never done
this. It's only my Intel-based Mac Mini that has the issue.
