In retrospect, I have to say that any discussion that results in this much
division is an answer in and of itself.
All that proves is that lots of people like minding other people's business.
Clearly, bringing him back would only further the division, and is not
worth the problems it would cause.
My opinion is that if people have a problem with an obnoxious person on an
email list, it is their own responsibility to deal with it. If the
obnoxious person is stalking someone else or if their abuse rises to the
level of criminal behavior, that's different.
But if you let someone annoy you to the point where you're arguing with
them, then that's on you. Gabe hasn't *forced* anybody to argue with him,
has he?
