Hanks story was about Vista compatibility being the real reason for the delay, so it *might* still be correct. Oddly, I could not find his post in the archives, even though it is on the mirror. I gave the news all the credibility of the last Intel rumors. Once again the joke is on me! So, no way can apple go five months without a significant patch. What will be the version after 10.4.9?
