to the person who rather harshly emailed me

I think that is me, but I did not email you on this, I posted a
response to list. The difference is more than nuanced semantics.

I wish to 1 appologise for starting this bloomin thread

But you go on in this very message to try and justify yet again using
commercial software that you have not paid for.

as I'm getting a bit rattled over someone being so rather harsh with their
comments.

I regret if I caused you insult, but I am critically challenging your
ideas, not attacking you as a human person.

if Apple make a real effort to make certain applications accessible then
I will happily kick the VMWare device from my workstation server.

I am not of the opinion that there is anything ethically wrong with
using VMware. It does seem disingenuous to pretend conditions under
which you would be willing to pay for commercial software you are
using.

We are talking about Microsoft office 2004 for Mac, AppleWorks,
Apple Logic Pro 7, Pro Tools and Sibelius 4 mac.

Only a couple of those does Apple have control over.

then I'll happily buy a mac rig and move from windows. but
until then I want to make sure things are getting there.

You do not have to run a hacked version of OS X to "make sure things
are getting there." The two things are not correlated, this reads to
me like someone looking for excuses to explain stealing software.

be tonal with me over what I am saying actually works then test it yourself

I never said it wasn't possible, but I take umbrage at how easy you
earlier posts implied it was. You have cleared that up. The approach
you describe is not for someone short on technical skills, nor long on
ethics.

Please unsubscribe me from this list after this message is viewed

What, you can get VMware working, but do not know how to unsubscribe
from a list? I am incredulous.
