Sounds way too much like reality. 

Q: Why are screen readers so expensive?

A: The answer is simple. Who are the major screen reader manufacturer
customers? (The answer isn't you and me.) It's Federal and state
government agencies. These are the $500 toilet seat people. Need I say
more?
