You can generally do it via a menu command too, but that's generally app
specific.
Yeah, I think there has been some exaggeration of the challenges presented
by jaws. That's to be expected on a Mac list. But I can give you a common
example of a app that won't close with Alt+F4 -- the Windows command window.
In fact, any app that runs in a command window, like openssh, won't close
with Alt+F4.
