how is this for you working out.

pros, cons etc?

I'm currently running Windows Vista in a VM under Parallels, another virtual program for Mac OS/X. I currently have several programs open in both OS. I have had some networking issues in terms of some extremely technical things I'm trying to do in Vista, but otherwise it works quite well with Window-Eyes as your Windows screen reader. The performance has, in fact, been quite a bit better than my dedicated Windows XP box, but it is getting rather long in the tooth anyway.

I will probably install an XP machine on here as well and see how well that runs.

Essentially, when one tabs into an application running on the VM, or into the VM Window itself, VoiceOver mostly shuts up and the Windows screen reader takes over for a while.

The Parallels program is not very accessible, although once it is set up I've managed to do most things I wanted by editing the configuration file manually in TextEdit and via menu commands.

Hope this helps.
