Hi John,
Thanks. You saved me a great deal of typing. *smile*
It's clear that Abdul is stuck on a separate point from the one being
discussed, which is thereby leading us far astray from the original
topic.

No, as usual, Abdul, you seek to create further discord by
perpetuating a seemingly innocuous discussion with the usual dose
of inaccuracies and deliberate misunderstandings. I never simply
chalked up or dismissed anyone's reason for not using a Mac in any
high and mighty manner. Another example of your intentional
misdirection. I provided additional reasons that are equally valid
and well documented throughout the Internet. Equally so, the
popularity of the Mac television commercials, which Apple would
have dropped if they were so allegedly hated, is also well
documented in marketing research. And, of course, as much as the
halo effect of the iPod has helped the success of Mac laptops,
fellow, so called Mac user and supporter, you would know much
better than that to make such a dismissive claim out of hand
considering ... you guessed it ... other market research to prove
otherwise. Yes, Abdul, I rely on facts and not matches to start
list fires.
Overall, though, we have gone way off topic from the nature of
this list, so it is pointless to continue to counter your usual
negativity and criticisms of Apple you have demonstrated throughout
the history of this list. Besides, I was curious to your
reappearance on this list, as, the archives clearly prove, it comes
in cycles and is usually surrounded by some kind of list
controversy. I got my answer this morning while flipping through
the channels on the boob tube. I feel foolish for missing the
obvious. Now, I'll sit back and see if my belief holds true. I've
been told that there is no such thing as simple coincidences.
