I get the impression from the ACB list, though, that those behind the resolution were, in some cases, pretty anti-Apple in general, and they ceased upon the hype over the iPhone as a tactic. The discussion on the ACB list has been rather lively. I was invited to contact someone who is in charge of, I guess, reviewing this resolution. He is suffering from a vast amount of misinformation about the Mac especially and Apple in general. I hope to educate ACB as a whole on the virtues of Mac and will remain on the list over there advocating for Apple as much as I can.

The resolution was primarily aimed at the lack of accessibility of the iPhone. It was, however, pointed out that there are magnification features for persons with low vision. At first, there was language which would have "expressed their disgust", but the language was watered down to "Extreme disappointment." I trust that ACB won't use strong-armed tactics, to get what they are trying to accomplish. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.
