With regard to the iPhone, I was told by a representative from Apple,
that they are aware of the issues concerning the availability of the
iPhone in both Alaska and Hawaii, and in the case of Alaska, they are
working with both AT&T-Alascom and the Alaska Mac Store, to ensure
availability of the iPhone, but it would be some time because they have
to clear hurdles with both the FCC and Securities and Exchange
Commission, since both stattes are al governed by international
commerce regulations, since we have to negotiate international air
space and water boundaries for shipment. AT&T Alascom is working hard
to get towers up statewide to improve quality reception to the iPhone
signal. I will keep y'all posted on the progress we make here in
