I'm sure the thought has occurred to them. What makes you think it
hasn't? Just because the iPhone doesn't have it now, doesn't mean it
won't. Apple was under contract to AT&T, and it is my understanding
that they had to get the phone out in a certain time period. Apple's
very secretive. We may indeed see more access on the phone in the
future. Mac OSX versions 10.0 through 10.3 didn't have Voiceover
either, but they were working on it, and we got it in 10.4. Patience
is a virtue.
