I can't speak for the Braille display issue, as I haven't got a
display. However, yes, you get an evaluation period of 15 days with
Parallels. It has been my experience that after the setup, which
does require sighted assistence, everything runs quite smoothly and
any options you may need to change on the fly are available and
accessible from the Parallels menus.
