Hi Dane,
I don't use my mac to watch DVDs, and if i do it is very rare, I am
usually using it for study purposes, so word processing and the like.
Could you please give me instructions on reducing CPU performance,
you can e mail me off list if you like, or we could Skype, a you have
my ucontact info on your list i think.
Thanks
James

If you're game, you can reduce the CPU performance, this also saves
quite allot of power but I only suggest you do this if you're
running minimum applications such as say Word Processing, Email etc
and not things like playing DVD's.

Just use the function key on the botttom left corner and the f1 to
lower the screen brightness to zero. That turns it off for sure
and gives me almost 5 hours of life depending on use of blue tooth,
airport and CD's.

Hi folks,
If we switch on the screen curtain when we are runningÎ on
battery, does it switch the screen off and hence save more power.
Thanks
James
