Yes, you can read it with the reader. Just do the following:
1. Insert the CD.
2. Find the folder called istream tutorials.
3. Open that folder and you see several called music, books, notes,
Etc.
4. Just do a select all, copy and then go back to the desktop.
5. Insure your stream is connected to the Mac (have it turned off,
connect USB cable to both the stream and computer, then turn on the
stream.)
6. You'll hear the stream say its connected when you turn it on.
7. It will show as "not named." Open that folder.
8. Insure your focus is on the new folder called "not named" and
paste in what you've put on the clipboard.
8. Now you can start downloading stuff to the stream.
I tried Greg's iStream application with no luck; maybe I was doing
something wrong?
Hope this helps.
BTW, the manual is on the stream.

Stupid question but can't you read it with the reader? If you can't
then that's pretty bad I reckon.

Just got my Victor reader stream. Neat little machine. However,
the CD with the manual etc is in daisy format. How to read it
with a mac? Greg Kearney, any ideas? I understand that the mac
computer daisy reader is on again? or is there some other way?
