When you close the Widgets, press VO Keys plus F2 twice quickly.  
You'll then be taken to the "Widget Chooser Menu". If you press enter/ 
right arrow on the "Widget Bar" yowl see a list of all the Widgets  
you can open.

Just because you closed the widgets, I don't think you have lost  
them completely.  Perhaps if you can find a disk image of said  
widgets, you can use them to put them back where they were and try  
using them again. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.
