Hello,
It appears that differing opinions exist, but this is why and what I
did.
Because I don't have a monitor on my Mac mini, I ;had this problem.
When I attempted to listen to a movie through DVD player, I was told
that no video devise was available. So I connected a DVI to Composite
adapter. The adapter does not have anything connected to it. However,
the output side of the adapter has an RCA connecter for the composite
connection to a composite monitor and a 5 pin connecter for an SVGA
cable. Others have not had this problem. This is just my solution to
the problem. I'd suggest you try it first without the adapter. If you
need one, Apple has them for around $19.99. That's a whole heck of a
lot cheaper than a monitor. Unless you already have one sitting
around just begging to be used.

Hey guys,
Someone posted here a few weeks ago, what's the secret with a mac
minny and
a monitor.
Someone said you have to have one hooked up. Or was there another work
around.
I normally don't have one in line, so any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jed
