Hi Shaun,

I personally have saved around 4 GB I think by either uninstalling or just simply not installing what i consider to be irrelevant software etc for my use of Tiger. I.e. extra languages, MS Office, some of the other apps such as Comic Life etc.

In response to your second question, unless Anne has a little trick she's not shared with me smile, it's just a case of copy and paste..

Hope this helps

Ann a couple of questions. How much space do you save by uninstalling the voices and Office? And how do you get your e-mail messages to say the opening line "hello" and then the other persons message followed by your response? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anne Robertson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X by theblind" <[email protected]>

How is the current OS install of tiger, anyone done it?

Quite a number of us have installed Tiger. I can't remember how many times I've done it but in any case, it's easy. It starts out talking and tells you exactly how to proceed.

I like to slim down my system by removing unnecessary languages and, of course, all those MS Office things.

Cheers,

Anne
