I think we've crossed threads, because I was originally giving
instruction for the iTunes contextual menu. Incidentally,
there's an answer to your question from a ways back about
why some podcasts don't stay deleted.

shift space does not equal a right click. Control option shift m
equals a right click and brings up the context menu. Mainly I use
control option shift space to click a button or to simulate a regular
mouse click not a right click.
