I know very little about security, but there are as far as i know, no
virues for the Mac. You shoul though check that your Firewall is
turnd on. Mine seemed to be off by default.

1. Open "System Preferences"
2. Open "Sharing"
3. Open the "Firewall" tab, and make sure that it is switched on.
There is a button.
Also are their any default network/internet settings I need to change?
