One of my favorite sites for finding Mac software is Versiontracker.com.
You can search for whatever title and the results tell you the release
date, version, size of download and the license type (Update,
Commercial, Free etc). It will also let you do these same searches for
Windows and PalmOS and within an OS you can sort of versions of the OS.
For MacOSX you can reduce to Leopard, Tiger, Panther, Jaguar or Classic.
