I re-installed Tiger from the ground up. I found it somehow, but for
navigational purposes I will try these commands to see how they
explain visually for whets happening on the screen. Thanks

Listers I use to go to my Home folder by doing a command shift H and

why and how to correct this behavior?
I think this may be a result of the original problems you had after
renaming
your home folder. If you go to finder is there still a Documents
folder
in the sidebar? If you select it by interacting under list view,
and then
issue the keyboard shortcut command, do you get taken to your home
directory in finder's column view mode? How about when you select
Music, Pictures, or Desktop in the sidebar of your Finder? Each of
these
should be under your Home directory, and if you do a command+up arrow
you should be placed in your home directory.. I'm not sure how to
recover
if you don't find these folders.
