You need Flip4Mac
<http://www.flip4mac.com/download.htm>
for QuickTime Player to handle .wav files.
Select the file you want to open press vo-Shift-m to get a contextual
menu, go down to Open With, go right to the submenu and choose
QuickTime Player.
It doesn't work with all .wav files, but it's worth a try.

doing was when ever i did this i would remove the itunes library
and then re create one. That became a pain because i kept having
to re set up all my playlists.
There has to be a way to validate my library and remove items
that are no longer located on my hard disk from itunes. I ask of
all of you, how might one do this?
