Howdy, Jude! 450 millimetres = 17.716535 inches. Since 1 millimetre = 0.039370079 inches; just multiply the number of millimetres by 0.039379979 inch to get the number of inches or the fraction of an inch. I used the Conversion Widget [Tiger] to do all my comversions of currency, volume, length area, temperature, etc. If you are running Mac OS X 10.4, you should have the widgets available to you. I am only using the ones which came with the operating system. Don't have enough room on the hard disc to go downloading even more. Hope this helps.
