Thanks so this is probably a 17 inch monitor. I had the screen size
wrong, so it was worth doing the calculations. I couldn't find
millimeters in the pop-up boxes over here.

450 millimetres = 17.716535 inches. Since 1 millimetre = 0.039370079 inches;
just multiply the number of millimetres by 0.039379979 inch to get the
number of inches or the fraction of an inch. I used the Conversion Widget
[Tiger] to do all my comversions of currency, volume, length area,
temperature, etc. If you are running Mac OS X 10.4, you should have the
widgets available to you. I am only using the ones which came with the
operating system. Don't have enough room on the hard disc to go downloading
even more. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please do not
hesitate to ask me.
Cheers!

How do you convert 450 millimeters into inches? I'm not even going to ask
how to compute a hypotenuse with it, I'll not be hurt for the conversion
my cell phone can do it. I was doing all of this math to figure the
screen display measurement area and those are hypotenuse calculations
every time. I need to know that since I'm trying to get Xwindows properly
started up on debian.
