Greetings,

I am curious as to what others are using for software development environments.

Specifically I am looking for a VoiceOver environment in which to develop Apple WebObjects projects.

Currently I am using Eclipse under Windows XP which is installed on my Macbook using bootcamp, but this isn't an ideal solution.

I did try Eclipse again under Leopard (I had very little success under Tiger) but the way in which SWT (the graphical toolkit Eclipse uses) presents controls to VoiceOver means that the majority of Eclipse doesn't speak correctly.

I did note that Leopard is still using Java 5.0, I did wonder if they had upgraded to 6.0 in this release weather that might have helped.

I have not as yet tried to develop any projects in objective-c / cocoa on the Mac, but that is definitely on my todo list.

Comments / thoughts / suggestions would be very welcome.

Thanks,

Mitch
