Yes to all. That's what I did and I do have all items checked under
navigation. I did VO Shift Space twice quickly. So, just to make sure
things are working from scratch, I'll try it again after a reboot and
see. I'll also try it on both machines and see if there is a
difference, one's a PPC and the other is Intel.

Every time I move the horizontal splitter in mail to the bottom
and double click on it, this is what happins. After I exit
mail, when I go back into mail, the horizontal splitter is once
again at the top. Furthermore, I have all options checked under
navigation in the VoiceOver utility.
