Jed, go to the computer that isn't getting mail. Go to the mailbox table and pick your mailbox. Press command I and navigate the dialog box. If you are not on the tab for mail server, then navigate to it using VO right arrow.

Hi there Jed and all,
Do you have the ability to use a webmail service to check your account. This shows you what is on the server. So, therefore if there are no messages showing on your webmail account then one computer is deleting them off the server. If they are there - then you know that it must be a setting you have wrong somewhere. I know this sounds stupid but have you checked the punctuation of your account information - perhaps you have put a comma in where there is meant to be a full-stop or something like that. What about if you shut down mail on your macbook and not check it - will your mac mini pick up the mail then? If you don't have the ability to check your webmail - you can ring your ISP and ask them to tell you what messages are on the server. Have you also checked the settings in the mac mini? Perhaps there is something that says don't check email for this account or something.
Let us know how you get on.
From Penny
