Jed, the questions you are asking have to do with your knowledge of
Windows and your lack of knowledge for Tiger/Leopard. What helped me
was taking the same thing that I learned in Windows with JAWS and
Window Eyes and learned how to do just that action on the Mac. You
have to learn the various ways of navigating and what certain controls
actually do. It is a learning curve, but it takes some getting use to.

help as much as I can. Don't get frustrated my friend you can make
this thing stand up and do what you need it to do.

Also, i noticed that when i am typing an email, when i use to hit
the shift key before a letter, it would make a beep.
Now that has gone away. Any thoughts why?
