I already had all but the tool bar hidden, but I just tried
navigating with that one hidden, too. There was no improvement; VO
still skips content when I use it with the left and right arrows.

Hello list,

I am still using Tiger and just upgraded to Safari 3. I am not
finding it as VO-friendly as previous versions. When I try to
navigate around on a web page, VoiceOver skips items, boots me over
to the back and forward buttons, etc. This does not appear to be
specific to a particular website; it occurs in Google results pages,
on the NPR website, as well as on other pages. I don't know if I need
to set particular safari or VoiceOver preferences, so I really could
use some help. If I can't figure this out, I'm afraid I'm going to
have to go back to Safari 2.
