I'm using Tiger 10.4.11 and Safari 3.0.4 (523.12). The number in
parenthesis is the version of webkit being used. This may make a difference.
There is the grouping option on the navigation tab of the VoiceOver utility.
Does this make a difference?
I like having VoiceOver follow the keyboard focus. This way, when I use tab
to move among links or form controls, VoiceOver will follow. Then again,
maybe this isn't the bahavior you want.

To what buttons are you referring?

Yes, but the buttons should be gone.

I already had all but the tool bar hidden, but I just tried
navigating with that one hidden, too. There was no improvement; VO
still skips content when I use it with the left and right arrows.

Hello list,
I am still using Tiger and just upgraded to Safari 3. I am not
finding it as VO-friendly as previous versions. When I try to
navigate around on a web page, VoiceOver skips items, boots me over
to the back and forward buttons, etc. This does not appear to be
specific to a particular website; it occurs in Google results pages,
on the NPR website, as well as on other pages. I don't know if I need
to set particular safari or VoiceOver preferences, so I really could
use some help. If I can't figure this out, I'm afraid I'm going to
have to go back to Safari 2.
Thank you.
