Hello, You will get various opinions as to the kind of machine you  
will want to start out with, so I will give you several options here  
that may be of interest to you.  If you want a computer that is  
inexpensive yet very powerful, the Mac Mini might be the option you  
may want to consider.  The all-in-one iMac is a desktop model with  
the monitor, tower, and speakers built into one unit.  In fact, I  
just saw the new ones that were delivered to our store and I may  
consider geting one.  Then there's the Mac Book and Mac Book Pro,  
which are two very popular laptops.  These are a bit more spendy, but  
they are very powerful machines and if you have a braille notaker or  
portable display, the Mac Book will give you wireless portability and  
flexibility, along with your notetake and/or portable display.  As I  
said, you're going to get varying opinions, so you will have to weigh
