I've made the subject less ambiguous I hope.
In the list of keyboard commands, you are directed to press vo-shift- home/end to go to the top and bottom of the list (respectively)or Messages table after interacting with it. On a portable computer, the home key is fn with left arrow and the end key is fn with right arrow. fn-shift-left arrow-vo goes to the top and fn-shift-right arrow-vo goes to the bottom. be aware though that when you do this, you may have to shift tab to the mailbox list and then back again or use vo with left and right and up and down to move through the mail efficiently after that because you will be placed in a state where if you just use up and down arrow, vo will speak only one column of the row such as the sender or the date or the subject of the message.
